Best lunch specials no matter what season! Dinner specials should drive people in/complimentary bread basket with choice of rolls or their homemade bread sweeten the palette. Mediterranean cuisine has entrees with savory spices and sauces we can't return. I strongly recommend their rice pudding, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, or chocolate cake. I don't know if it was a German chocolate desert slice I had once experienced there. There's another desert I run to get from there, but I will not tell you because then they'll be all out when I get that need. I'm hoping you will try all of the above.

2nd time at Venus...first was dinner and now for brunch. Great food.. great service...that's it. You cant ho wrong. Everything is delicious!
We always go with the kids and whole family... never a problem to sit 13 and the food is amazing, and the service and owner are absolutely wonderful
Old school. Vintage neighborhood. Absolutely a must go to location. The only diner in West Hempstead. Always delicious, I have been going there for over 30 years tried a good portion of the menu and never disappointed. I recommend the chicken gyro deluxe. Burgers are always exceptional. Try it as a take out or eat in you won’t be disappointed.
We had a terrific breakfast/lunch. The matzoh ball soup had excellent flavor. It was the ball and broth. Sometimes places give a little vegetables and chicken, but this was not the case for the cup. I had the Greek salad with grilled chicken and my son had a Hungry man with waffle. I would come back for sure. This is a classic diner setting, clean, friendly, excellent service. The tzatziki sauce was terrific, and the dressing was real, not bottled. I highly recommend supporting this family owned traditional business.
We had a lunch here with a big group of people. They gave us a private room. Servers were prompt with getting our orders. Food came out quickly and everyone liked what they got. Diner style restaurant. They have a lot of Greek options too. Their chicken salad and potato salad was very tasty!
